Photo  exhibition with concert at the Visegrad Summer School.

The Visegrad Visibility Art Group is a group of young photographers from the V4 countries. The art group was founded by the participiants of the Visegrad Visibility Summer Worshops (Samorin, Banska Stiavnica - 2010, Brno, Krakow - 2011, Praha, Pecs - 2012). The group is led by Gabriella Csoszo and Julia Baier.

The presentation shows the latest works of these two artists. The presentation followed by a concert of the Budapest based CORELLI TRIO will be at 7 pm. at Villa Decius

The program of the Corelli Trio: Contemporary Absurds and Splinters - music balancing the splinters of the past in the framework of the absurdity of the present. Works by Hungarian composers, B. Bartók, Gy. Kurtág, Gy. Fekete, B. Horváth, L. Borsody.

Following the 8 days long workshop and research in Prague, the participiants of the travelling workshop move to Hungary, to Pecs, the former Cultural Capital of Europe,  to discuss the challenges of the posttransitional period in the context of Hungary. The debates are led and moderated by Eva Karadi (Hungarian Lettre) and Gabor Csordas (Jelenkor, the leaders of the photo and documentary workshop are Julia Baier (Berlin) and Gabriella Csoszó (Budapest).

Following the succesful events of the last two years (Samorin, Banska Stiavnica - 2010, Brno, Krakow - 2011) the Visegrad Visibility Summer Workshop will start on July 3rd, 2012 in Praha. This year the workshop focusing on problems and challenges of the of posttransitional period: globalization, social tensions, migration.

During the workshop there are lectures by and debates with:

The exhibition in Prague will be opened at July 3, 2012 at 18.00, at Mlynska Kavarna, Prague, by Gabor Olah (Masaryk University, Brno) and Katarina Rudcenkova, poetress. The exhibition is curated by Gabriella Csoszo and Barbora Holubova.
